Biography

Noreen Rose Makoni recently joined the firm as an associate attorney. Noreen is an alumina of the University of Zimbabwe with a shining academic background. From the University of Zimbabwe Noreen interned both in Manicaland and Harare firms where she particularly assisted as a Research Assistant to her Senior Associates, peer-reviewing drafts and advising on potential solutions for both civil and criminal cases. Some of Noreen's most notable accomplishments include: her commitment to the community at large; her research and writing skills.

Noreen's love of law motivated her to pursue a Masters in Intellectual Property at Africa University in 2021 which was jointly offered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) and the Africa University in Mutare (AU) Zimbabwe surpassing expectations. During the Program she fostered good relations with her fellow colleagues from various jurisdictions hence sharpening her knowledge and appreciation of the Intellectual property Law not just in Zimbabwe but across the globe.

Noreen has a breath of experience in many areas of law including but not limited to civil and criminal litigation in courts, business law, and debt collection matters. Noreen has been in private practice for about 5years now and her knowledge, experience, and access to key decision makers are extremely valuable to her clients. In future Noreen hopes to further her studies by pursuing a Post Doctoral Degree program.
